'For over two decades, my life has been centered around rhythm, alignment, and energy—through anatomy, remedial bodywork, and a dedicated yoga practice. My paintings are a creative extension of that same movement. Each original piece explores texture, vibrant local Northern Rivers energies, and fluid abstract forms designed to bring a sense of balance and presence into a living space.'

Graeme is a self-taught painter working primarily with acrylic on canvas. His work explores expressive portraits, wildlife subjects and abstract forms through layered colour, loose brushwork and textured surfaces. Graeme began painting during the COVID-19 lockdown period and has since developed a vibrant body of work characterised by movement, bold colour and emotional presence.

My Story

Graeme is a talented artist using acrylic paint on canvases, the occasional mural, and even live body painting.

Graeme has exhibited in galleries on the Mid North Coast, and also entry to the Archibald Prize, and recently applying for local galleries at Ballina & Lismore.

'I enjoy laying down paint using anything form brushes to spatulas and even my fingers. I love to have a rough plan, and allow the tool dictate what technique and style of painting it will become '

“We currently have 10 to 12 select original pieces hanging throughout our clinical space at 213 River St. While they love being part of our daily environment, we know a busy clinic isn't always the perfect viewing platform! If you are local to Ballina or the Northern Rivers and want to see a specific canvas up close in natural light, you are welcome to arrange a quiet, private viewing outside of clinic treatment hours.”
