Plasma Pen

This non surgical procedure gives you a quick and easy way to rejuvenate your skin, allowing new, frersher skin to form.
How does it work ?
The Plasma Pen or Fibroblast Therapy , target fibroblasts, these are collagen , and protein producing cells in the dermis, the layer of skin, just below your outermost skin layer.
The Plasma Pen discharges a high frequency electric current to small areas of the skin. The hot current creates tiny holes in the skins layer - micro injuries. This procedure encourages tissue regeneration, stimulates fibroblast activity, and causes tissue contraction - tightening.
This process leads to the dermis shedding post treatment. This is when new skin begins to form, proteins are activated and released in the dermis and collagen is produced.
Recovery
Once the procedure is completed, you can expect the small dots to scab over and fall off after about one week.
Over the next couple of weeks, as your skin heals, it will be tighter and firmer.
Some people may se benefits from one treatment, while others may require three treatments for results.
The Procedure
Treatments will vary slightly, based on what and where you're having the treatment.
Typically :
* Cleansing the skin and applying a topical anesthetic - numbing cream
* Treating the designated skin area with the Plasma pen. The pen will create small arcs of microcurrents that make small scab like dots on the skin.
* Remove the numbing cream, and apply a cooling gel to minimise the tingling and burning sensation whenever possible.
*The treatment takes about 30 - 60 mins.

However, the exact number of treatments required can be determined more accurately once the skin has healed after the first session.
